Nikki is a trainer and qualified Assessor. As a former manager in the Financial Services Industry, Nikki had been involved in banking staff development for many years and her enthusiasm for this aspect of her role drove her to move into a regional learning and development manager position in 1999. She was part of a small team covering the South West of England responsible for the training and development of several thousand staff of all ages and experience. She was involved in the design and delivery of workshops and undertook coaching and mentoring roles as appropriate to the individuals’ needs.
Her commitment and ability was recognised in 2001 when she was selected as one of only four finalists at the National Customer Service Awards – Trainer of the Year.
Following the birth of her daughter, Nikki took some time off but missed her passion for staff development. She now works with The Way Ahead’s team of trainers and assessors undertaking a variety of roles including the preparation and delivery of leadership and management workshops, Apprenticeships and VQ Assessing.
This position allows Nikki to continue to help people realise their potential and develop through ongoing learning.
